"The Gospel
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
We are separated from God because of sin (Romans 3:23). The consequence of our sin is eternal death (Romans 6:23), BUT God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins (Romans 5:8). Salvation is a gift that was paid for by the blood of Jesus. When we believe that Jesus paid the price for our sins, and we confess Him as Lord, we will be saved (Romans 10:9, Romans 10:13). Once we are saved, we are beginning a personal relationship with God. It's important that we grow this relationship by spending time with God through reading our Bibles, being in Christian community, praying, and worshipping. When we seek God with all our heart, we will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13)."
